minus-squareLeate_Wonceslace@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up41·edit-22 months agoFor anyone wondering, I have this dude labeled as “fascist”. I don’t remember what they did, but it was probably definitive. Edit: For everyone asking, there is a feature called “tag user” on my app, I access it by first viewing the user. Going back to sleep, now.

minus-squareA2B2@lemdro.idlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up14·2 months agoI’m labeling you as someone who labels people (Can you tell me how to label people?)
minus-squarecm0002@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up7·2 months agoIts client dependent, on Boost it’s called tags and I can tag people from the users profile menu or the quick menu from a comment
minus-squareJusticeForPorygon@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up12·edit-22 months agoWait how do you label people? Is that built into the API or is that specific to an app?
minus-squareLost_My_Mind@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up7·2 months agoEveryone just labeled you as “Doesn’t even know how to label! Psssh!”
minus-squareCrashumbc@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·2 months agoI suspect it might be part of an app. Although I’m curious as well.
minus-squareLeate_Wonceslace@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agoI’m using sync, but I’m pretty sure it’s native to the platform. I access it from the user profile in question.
minus-squarejetliswar@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 months agoIm curious as well. Im using boost. But i see now that you can give tags to usernames? Maybe thats it?
minus-squarecm0002@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 months agoYea that’s it, some clients call it different things so I’m pretty sure it’s a client dependent thing
minus-squareBeaver@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agoIts part of the app they’re using.
minus-squareJusticeForPorygon@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 months agoIdk I was able to do it, don’t know if we’re using the same app tho. I’m on boost.

minus-squareIlovethebomb@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up9·2 months agoI’ve now got you labeled as “tells people what they’ve labeled people”.
minus-squareLeate_Wonceslace@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up11·2 months agoI actually do have a habit of that. 😂
minus-squareLost_My_Mind@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·2 months ago…why would ANYONE just naturally wonder what you’ve labelled this one specific user, if you yourself can’t even remember what they did?
minus-squareLeate_Wonceslace@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up11·2 months agoIt’s more if they’re wondering how shitty of a person they are (the answer is “very”)

minus-squareredisdead@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up8·2 months agoI can’t remember specific instances that made me look at someone and label them. I tend to forget about the idiots I randomly meet on. The internet.
minus-squareBeaver@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 months agoI also have that on old reddit with res.
