Yeah, their newest cope is to say the Democrats are equally as bad as the Republicans, despite that being so blatantly false to anyone who has been paying attention for the past 8 years. They’re in for a very rude surprise when their plan to “push the Dems left” results in Trump obliterating Gaza and enacting Project 2025 and pushing the country even further right than it is now. And there won’t be another election for the Dems to court Left voters for.

In my experience it’s usually number 3. They’re not at risk under a Trump administration (or so they think) so their hands are clean, no matter how damaging their actions are. Throwing Gazans, Ukrainians, LGBTQ, women, minorities, etc under the bus while claiming a moral victory for “punishing the Democrats”. And no amount of explaining this to them will make them realize this, because they just bury their heads in the sand, call you a genocide lover, and start blabbering about “Blue MAGA” or whatever is the new buzzword of the week.

It’s black and white thinking and it’s stupid. There’s zero nuance to it.

The other people in Putin’s administration also have their own families and interests and wouldn’t want that put at risk by nuclear annihilation. Even if Putin himself tried to give the go-ahead, I doubt those in charge of the nukes would want to effectively commit suicide over Putin’s stupid invasion by firing them.

Because banning people you don’t agree with from running for Congress is fascist, even if it’s for what you believe is the right reasons. Everyone has a right to vote for who represents them, even if they’re garbage.

Bob-ombs, multiple variants of Shy Guys, Birdo, and Pokeys all originated in DDP. All of those besides Birdo have been mainstay enemies ever since.

In a way they’re worse. At least MAGAs are open about being shitty people and don’t pretend otherwise. Stein supporters will act smug and superior (“I didn’t vote for Trump directly, so my hands are totally clean!”) while they let Trump fuck everyone (Gaza included) over. They’re so focused on what’s happening across the ocean that they don’t care about the dumpster fire happening at home unless they can use it as ammunition to push “BoTh SiDeS” bullshit.

That’s Index’s “gotcha” every time someone brings up the dinner photo. He posts these every time as if it’s not normal for world leaders to meet… and Stein is not a world leader.
