This tweet does not understand the difference between libido and erection. I’m happy for him that he’s so ignorant. I wish the same for all of you, truly.

Because erectile dysfunction is when you’re plenty horny but the flag keeps going up and down anyway. ED pills do not make you horny, they help your vascular system direct the blood where it needs to go to keep the flag raised. They only work when you are already aroused.

When you take one before date night, you might feel a little flushed but that’s it. You don’t immediately get hard out of nowhere. Your nutsack tyrant doesn’t materialize next to you with a hammer and whip like a demon ready to slave drive you into machismo.

Interesting. I had no idea they worked like that.

Sounds like taking melatonin for sleep. It’s not going to put you to sleep unless you’re in a sleepy headspace

And when date night progresses to the right point, you’ve got 99.8% the hardest hard you’ve ever had. A cat couldn’t scratch it.

I knew a guy that did this with his gf regularly. They’d take a full day off, phones off, he’d pop a viagra and they’d both do a molly.

He was also the dealer, so no, I do not and never did.

Though, FWIW, entirely not recommended for long-term practice. That much molly regularly can really mess up your brain chemistry. It didn’t end well for them, but she was also a depressed wreck.

I’ve never found MDMA to be sexual. Yeah, you like physical contact, and definitely feel the love, but it never made a horndog out of me. I think that’s an old wives tale, and I’ll say I’ve got plenty of experience over the last 15+ years.

This reminds me of that Russian woman who subdued and bound a burgular to a chair, after which she fed him only dick pills and kept him as a sex toy for a week.

I should risk breaking into Russian homes, I think

Not that I disagree with the post… but the general public out here wilding about vaccines and tylenol and fluoride and shit yet missing this extra-stupid medical “conspiracy” will never not be funny to me.

The FDA doesn’t like greenlighting drugs of dubious direct clinical benefit with high abuse potential, so for the sake of expediency, Pfizer decided to push the narrative that Viagra definitely wasn’t fun unless you had peepee problems. No one wants to look like they have peepee problems, so not enough people who’ve tried it are willing to call a spade a spade and say it’s fun af regardless of age or necessity.

    Thus the narrative persists.

Erection pills don’t make you horny just like erectile dysfunction doesn’t mean you aren’t horny as hell, you just can’t do anything about it and that generally makes you more horny and frustrated.

Edit: this was directed at the guy on X just to be clear. I suck at this. End edit.

Uggggh why always with the weird hyperfocus on sex? It’s so unnecessarily weird.

Just take care of business in whatever way works for you (consenting adults, that’s the check mark) and move on with your fucking day ffs. And leave other people alone about your weird obsessive hang ups. Jeezes fuck.

A perfectly normal and healthy guy doesn’t really need a boner pill to have sex for a hours unless you mean literally nonstop I guess, at least that’s my experience

Depends on age. Most men , as they get older, aren’t able to get an erection as easily or have it last as long as they could in their early 20s. And certainly not at the same level of 16.

I’m a woman. But this is what I’ve heard and also what I know about biology of reproductive system.

It’s totally normal to change. It’s part of the body’s maturation. Nothing for men to worry about or think there is something wrong with them. There isn’t. Women’s bodys change too.

Also I’m sure most men are grateful it doesn’t work like a 16 year olds their whole life.

Imagine having to carry around a book or backpack all the time to hide an unwanted erection.

Guys have told me these incidents were mortifying to them as teenagers.

Unintentional boners are the bane of being a teenage boy. There was one dude who did this elaborate “will you go to prom with me” in the middle of the lunch room and when she said “yes” he got a little too excited. We laughed but it’s more sympathetic laughter because it happens to everyone.

If it’s any consolation, as a teenage girl, I was largely unaware of this phenomenon occurring.

I thought when guys brought their math book with them to the chalkboard they brought it to use if needed.

Or forgot they were carrying it.

Idk. I never thought about it much.

I can’t even remember one incident of seeing a teen boy with a pitched tent in school. I’m sure there was. But nothing stands out.

I don’t think most girls that age (or at least my generation) understood what an erection really was or how it worked. Most of us were oblivious to the teen boy struggle.

We were dealing with periods and soaked underwater. The latter of which was never explained in health class.

Us gals worried that a dark spot or wet spot was visible on the back of our pants.

They really don’t educate kids very well about these things.

God, puberty was the worst wasn’t it?

Horny and stupid. We could fix the stupid but that would require effort and education.

And for some reason people seem against that…

It’s only a small percentage of teens are engaging in sex. The rest is rumors and lying. The few who are, are often talked about a lot making it seem like it’s common but it’s not.

Most teens believe everyone else is having sex when they aren’t.

The only people getting laid regularly in high school are gay boys. Joking, not joking.

              https://weascend.org/resource/quick-facts-2024-sex-education-in-america/

Even teens who have had sex often only had a single or few encounters.

Unfortunately most girls are being sexually active with older boys or adult men not their peer boys. Though that occurrence has been declining. Or at least it was. It used to be considered more socially acceptable for a 17 year old girl to date a 23 year old man. Not so much now. But it was very common in the early 2000s. And earlier.

              Currently (2024) statistics show:

70% of Teen boys graduate high school with no sexual encounters. 69% of teen girls report the same (2024).

But just a decade ago the number was close to 50% for girls.

In general, people are having less sex and are interested in sex less than previous years. There are many reasons but the easy answer is “capitalism”. All causes mostly spring from that root cause.
