I was doing research for a tv as i fear the inbound tariffs will make them not personally affordable… the tldr from my hours of research - any tv >2023 is probably inferior to it’s previous model with less intrusive bullshit.

Its so annoying that almost every TV, has preinstalled Netflix and other crap on the remote, and an microphone. I want a good TV, with good connection and resolution. Without the AI, preinstalled crap. And affordable. Any results of your research?
There are options but they’re way fucking expensive… Best to just get a TV that doesn’t need you to login to use the tv (ala fire tv). I got a tcl 2023 and didn’t need to login to switch inputs to my nvidia shield… Which to be fair isn’t much better in AI shit… But honestly I generally enjoy it’s upscaling. The TVs… Somehow isn’t nearly as good as a 2019 android box.
