Fursuiters will use any costume event as an excuse to break out & wear their suit. And can you blame them? They’re expensive! They wanna get as much use out of them as possible. Plus… it’s fun!

I interpreted it as Disney adults only consume Disney content while renaissance fair adults consume a wider variety.
I kind of feel like the corporate bootlicking is a more relevant implied criticism among so many other things tbh.

Better be a quality suit with good cooling. Every time I go to a ren fair it’s hot as balls.

To be faire, people have been wearing fursuits to faires since fur suits first existed.

That’s true. I just like to point out that they are different because people still think that Polyamory is a sex thing when sex is fully unrelated.
