It’s best to get a cup or glass and a piece of paper or cardboard, then release them outside, so they can’t sting you, and are out of your way! I understand your disdain for them, but wasps are also valuable pollinators, so please don’t kill them!
I legit can’t imagine hurting a bee. Wasps I’m less sympathetic to. But I love bees.

The bee murdering is believed to be worse, then killing a wasp, because they are “hard working” aka useful for us.
Depending on where you live it may be hard to distinguish some bees from wasps, like the mason bee (my second favourite bee)
