Before the second Trump era, it would’ve been seen as a ridiculous violation of the First Amendment to have some kind of monitor making sure the media was being nice to the president.

No. No, it is ridiculous. Don’t pretend it’s fine.

I hope Matt Stone and Trey Parker create no end of shit for Paramount/CBS.

    RIP America.

They won’t fire them. Trump will just ignore any satire that they throw his… lol, no, he won’t. I don;t know how this will go. That’s a lot to write off by firing. This could get ugly and go beyond just political and business dealings. “Will someone rid me of these cartoon guys?”

They signed a streaming deal. Cancelling the show order would have no impact on that deal whatsoever.

“They made commitments to address bias and restore fact-based reporting. I think that’s so important,” Carr told Newsmax’s Greg Kelly on his show Thursday night.

So sick of these assholes for whom “fact-based reporting” means “lies that promote fascism” and “fake news” means “true reporting.”

CBS was already pretty terrible about giving both sides airtime and attacking both sides equally… even when the evidence was clear that one side was in the wrong or there was additional context left untold. And it has almost always benefited the right when they do that.

So I actually agree. They should go to fact-based reporting. But I’m guessing my idea of fact-based reporting is different from theirs.

So what government offices aren’t being weaponized at this point and where are all the small/no interference republicans at?

What is crazy to me are the lengths that Trump is willing to go to distract from his Epstein debacle. Also, maybe before agreeing to go on South Park Trump should’ve familiarized himself with their type of show.

Ah yes, straight out of the dictatorship handbook …

Everybody look at Russian media … then North Korean television.
Now look back towards the newly implemented oversight on the American broadcast stations.
