Glucagon-like peptide-1 agonism - GLP-1, common in obesity medicines - is not essential to weight management, according to preclinical research led by Richard DiMarchi and Matthias Tschöp, with funding from their startup company Bluewater Biosciences.
I could be wrong, but does it involve…… I dunno…… eating less?
Eating less calories?
Yes.
Eating less volume/weight?
Weirdly, no.
The reason people keep fucking it up, is they try to maintain an empty stomach, working against evolutionary instincts as old as we’ve had stomachs.
What you do, is eat bulky foods that take a long time to digest. That keeps your stomach “happy” instead of sending signals to eat more, it just digests what it has. Over time your stomach stops expanding as much when eating and you can’t eat as much in one sitting. And your gut biome changes which kills sugar cravings so many people struggle with. Adding up to a slip and binge going from disasterous to just not even noticable.
You can still eat ice cream and junk food too, you just won’t want to eat much, and you physically cant eat much because you’re literally full of salad.
The only problem is, there’s absolutely zero money in getting people to eat salads.
There’s a shit ton of money in semiglutides, especially since if people stop they gain the weight back in like 2 years
Wait, so ultra processed food like burgies and chips aren’t what we’re supposed to be eating?? RONALD LIED TO ME
If a half pound serving of deep fried potatoes ain’t a vegetable, I don’t know what is…
/s
Is it extra servings if it’s fried in vegetable oil?
Corn’s a vegetable, you know how much corn syrup is in a half gallon of Dr Pepper?
Not this time, right now we’re talking about other drugs that can be used for weight loss.
Wait… but reading the article?! That’s illegal!
Wait, can we do this?
No, consuming less is not allowed. You may only lose weight by consuming more, new products.
No. Unfortunately we have to shovel food into our gullet at all possible opportunities.
Go back to Russia, you communist.
