  • The American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s political action committee spent nearly $15 million on the primary, filling airwaves and mailboxes with negative ads in an effort to unseat Bowman, who has accused the influential pro-Israel lobbying group of trying to buy the race.

“The outcome in this race once again shows that the pro-Israel position is both good policy and good politics — for both parties,” the American Israel Public Affairs Committee said in a statement.

15 fucking million dollars, and AIPAC claims this primary shows voters support Israel…

Fuck any politician who takes a dime in bribes from a foreign country. I’m never voting for anyone that takes AIPAC money, regardless of what letter is by their name.

It’s a big tent, but it doesn’t have room for genocide.

  • AIPAc spent like 14 million against him.

I think it I saw an article about how this was the most expensive primary for the House.

So yeah, because of his stance on Palestine (which was “genocide bad”) Israel interfered in our election.

But Schumer, Harrison, and Biden take more AIPAC money that pretty much anyone else, so they’re going to say this proves voters don’t want progress and love genocide.or some other crazy shit.

Our system is broken and abused, and a D by someone’s name clearly isn’t enough anymore.

  • User hat:

You deleted a comment I made because you said it was incivil (not going to repeat it, but it’s in the modlog)

Was it because I pointed out that they were denying a genocide?

That’s the only thing that was remotely personal, and if that breaks the rules is it acceptable to instead just link sources explaining how Israel is committing a genocide?

Genocidal denial is just a pretty big deal in my eyes, so I want to know how mods are ok with addressing it. I felt that I was following the sidebar by commenting on the argument and not the user, but apparently I misunderstood something.

I wouldn’t have mentioned it, by their comment denying genocide is literally just a few comments down this chain…
