There are some great mobile games out there. A few of my favorites include Dawncaster and Slice & Dice. Personally when I’m looking for a new game I use https://www.darkpattern.games/ to check if they are exploitive.

60C is when PLA starts to warp, but even lower is when it starts to degrade. 6 years is more than enough for this level of degradation even in a less volatile environment.

You might tell yourself in retrospect that you consciously made that decision to deepen it and twist it, but with the adrenaline, panic, fear? Cruel? Of the places to be stabbed, the belly is probably one of the least severe ones, especially on males, so long as you get medical attention. Stabbing in a limb could result in long term damage much more easily.

You were in the process of being strangled, even if in hindsight you think you did, you weren’t making a choice with any thought of it being cruel or not. There was likely adrenaline at that point, and panic. No one could successfully argue you had the presence of mind to make a conscious decision to be cruel.

I’m sure you’ll have lifelong trauma, and might need to seek therapy if you aren’t already receiving it. It sounds like a part of what you’re experiencing is a form of survivor’s guilt. But no, how you got yourself out of that situation wasn’t cruel.

A family friend in a similar spot just referred to each other as “life partners”. Any others it was just “partner” or “significant other”.

A useful tool is DarkPattern.games, which lists dark patterns in mobile games (such as micro transactions).

Sounds like you’re describing that you view how he is depicted as a good role model. I think the best way to describe it would just be “I’m atheist/agnostic/etc but view Jesus as a good role model” or something to that effect.

Or just lean into chaos and go with “Jesus is my role model” with no elaboration and let people make of it what they will.

My HVAC is 25 years old and going strong. Only quirks it has is the airflow sensor needs to be blown (haha) once in the winter. Only maintenance outside of the usual I’ve done is replace the fan capacitor.

My water heater is about 10 years old but one of the perks of my gas utility is a water heater warranty so when it comes time to replace or repair part of the cost will be covered.

I’d rather just write it out. I’ve never used snippets or macros per say, but I do make liberal use of regex replace and multiline cursors lol. Writing out a bunch of getters and setters? Regex!

I did try LLM tab auto complete and while sure, it did suggest some stuff that was useful (after refactoring it), the amount of time I spent WTF’ing some suggestions it made wasn’t worth it.

I find more benefit from asking an LLM about something I’m undecided or confused about, and while it’s never given me a good enough answer, it has stirred enough creative juices in my brain to help me along lol.

It’s the first thing I thought of when the articles about the generative AI polluting itself started coming out.

Yeah, the generative AI pollution feels alot like the whole steel thing - since the nuclear tests it’s been impossible for new steel to not be slightly radioactive, which means if they need uncontaminated steel they get it from ships that sunk before those.
