I mean this is just categorically false, I’m extremely diligent about doing my laundry.
It then goes onto the “folding pile,” which the locals have started to refer to as “Mount Laundry”
To avoid this, I now hang almost everything on hangers. It’s not a perfect system, but I’m WAY better about doing it than folding, because folding sucks.
I did that for a long time, but hangers and hanging things became such a hassle and started not being efficient/ friendly enough.
I basically don’t fold anything now. My jeans get thrown over the hanger bar, my shirts get laid out semi flat so there’s no intense wrinkling, and everything else pretty much has its own drawer. The only things I hang now are hoodies, and I have a system like a front entryway coat hanger, so they just get put on the hooks and it’s done.
This worked for me as well!
The only things that lay flat are sports shorts folded in half and the few sweaters I own. Shirts, other shorts, and pants are all on appropriate hangers. When I get something out I don’t mess up the piles!
Same, everything but socks and underwear goes on a hanger.
Hang the fancy stuff, everything else gets stuffed into a drawer
What’s great about a folding pile that eventually it just becomes your wardrobe. For every piece of clothing I grab from the clothing pile to wear I get to skip folding one piece of clothing.

I did the towels yesterday! I’m do the sheets uhm…sometime.
I did a load last night. It may or may not still be in the washer.
I did the towels on Saturday, sheets on Sunday, and my clothes last Tuesday!
They are still in the basket. Clean. But in the basket.
Good reminder. I gotta do laundry eventually this week.
Two weeks? That’s not putting it off. That’s just barely enough for a full load.
I did laundry day before yesterday. It’s still on the chair, but it’s done.

Love to see this posted one hour after I already did my laundry a week later than I ought to have done it.
Jokes on you, I just did a load of laundry this morning.
After forgetting it in the washer last night and having to re-run it.
And I actually brought it down to the laundry room the day before that.
And I put it all in a hamper the day before that.
Okay what I’m saying is, I have a system and it apparently works eventually so nyah.
Oh right… I put two towels in this morning about eight hours ago 😝
I spent several weeks not doing laundry but I actually did laundry two days ago :3
The washer in my new apartment has finally been fixed so we’re running loads around the clock.
Bought a too-small-sized cloth bin, do when it overflows, I know there is laundry overdue.
Now about the pile of clothes on the floor next to the bin, I can explain…
