“my arbitrary numbers pulled from my ass say that my ethnostate is slightly more democratic than the people we’re actively exterminating with bombs and starvation, and have prevented from having a functioning society. You should support us as a result”
Do you honestly think that’s remotely convincing lmao
Palestinians have failed to build a functioning democracy for themselves. They aren’t even politically united under one banner since Hamas took power in Gaza. Palestinians can’t even make peace among themselves.
There would have been no Nakba, if the UN partition plan had been accepted by the Arabs. They chose war instead, which they lost, resulting in the Nakba.
The existence of the Palestinian people is not under threat of destruction. This is a conflict about land.
Sounds like your ass is in lockstep with the US state department

The Economist, a journal that speaks for British millionaires.
The Economist also at one point argued that Confederate victory would result in abolition faster than a Union victory. But don’t worry they totally supported abolition they were just really worried that it wouldn’t get done fast enough.
I don’t need some stats to point out that it’s an apartheid settler state. You were bringing up the stats to deflect from criticism. Having the trappings of votes and parliament doesn’t change the material reality.
According to the world democracy index Israel is at 7.8, same as the USA. Palestine is listed as 3.5.

I love how I made fun of you for saying something worthy of ridicule and you just do it again without blinking.
I was talking about before October 7th 2023.
Wow so history just began then huh? . So have you done your military service yet?
You have some history learning to do.

The destruction of the Palestinians has been going on since 1948. And you expect then to have a stable form of government after 70 years of it?
This started before 1948. One example the Hebron Massacre was part of a series of violent hate crimes by Arab mobs against Jews in 1929.
‘This’ meaning the systematic destruction of the palestinians.

My ass is apparently a well respected scientific ranking with a published methodology.

Bring your own favorite democracy index then. There are a couple of others.
I don’t need some stats to point out that it’s an apartheid settler state. You were bringing up the stats to deflect from criticism. Having the trappings of votes and parliament doesn’t change the material reality.
Palestinians under PA or Hamas’ Gaza don’t even get trappings of elections.
My bigger concern is the US weapons getting used to blow them into pieces by your government.
I mean… The USA is far from democratic so it’s not as if it was a great example to follow?
Israel has improved on that ranking, while the USA became worse.
And sure, Israel isn’t a perfect democracy, but it is certainly one.
