Don’t say what you care about per se. Say what you know will get the other side to pay attention. Don’t double down on useless memes that have limited reach. Find a simpler message with wider reach and run with it. Say less to minimize the possibility of conflicting with your audience’s ideology.

What has happened in Gaza over the past nine months is devastating. The images of dead children and desperate hungry people fleeing for safety, sometimes displaced for the second, third or fourth time. We cannot look away in the face of these tragedies.
