Tarrifs are a scheme to shift the tax burden onto the working class and give tax breaks to the rich.

Just like when they replace income taxes with sales taxes, another trick to screw the poor.

They’re talking about almost doubling the price. People are willing to pay more, just not that much more.

The reality of the situation is that America is literally the richest country in the world per person. There’s no reason for everyone to feel like they can’t afford American made products other than wealth inequality.

They talk about maintaining their margins. I’m curious if they’re talking percentage-wise or dollar-per-unit profit.

I think “margins” might imply percentage, but I Am Not A Businessman. I would be interested to see a full cost breakdown. I bet they’re saving on shipping! Lol

Off-topic, but: A filtered shower head? Now, granted, I don’t even bother to filter the tap water that I drink, but it feels like this isn’t a case of people feeling the economic pinch, because a filtered shower head is so far beyond anything like a necessity. It’s just people with plenty of money being cheap.

In general, it might be a solution for hard water where someone couldn’t install a whole-house system. Looking at the website, however, it looks like it’s to … well, reduce chlorine with an un-sourced ‘98% contain too much chlorine’ statistic. Is that just bunk? Iunno, but I certainly can’t be bothered to search.
