Are they somehow able to detect the OS by something other than the user agent headers or have you tried changing your user agent?
I have no idea how they do it. I did try some addons to change my user agent but that doesn’t work. At least it with pearemoved.

This is likely easily remedied with an extension to tell Pearemoved you’re on a supported system. Artificial incompatibility.
It doesn’t work. I tried everything. User agent switching, etc.
