      You’re kidding, but look up the first “successful” seat ejection from a standstill. The removedpit was designed so badly that the steering wheel or w/e actually hooked on the release trigger for the ejection seat, ejecting a pilot while still on the ground. Ahh, those Russians.

      I thought about your comment more than I care to admit, but my conclusion is that in this case it is probably not likely because of the cost of the plane.

      That’s a pretty arbitrary figure. Neither is that thing available on any sort of free market, nor does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to replace.

        Yeah it seems odd to focus on the cost in a headline. What the craft did should be more important.
