And that makes me feel sad about it. Remember TheFlow quitting the reverse engineering entirely because of those slop kiddies? I’m worried about reverse engineering field getting outnumbered by those fly-by-night LLM users replacing the existing enthusiasts. I really hope that won’t happen but really we need to fight against those LLM users to keep it rolling and maintained by someone care about their project.

So true. “You cannot escape AI” is simply not true as there are many FOSS projects explicitly banning usage of LLMs. By thinking this way you just give up to even trying fighting against it. This is such a defeatist logic and harmful to FOSS ecosystem in general.

This is so very true. LLMs are undermining the trust among contributors, the very thing that makes open source projects possible in the first place.

Ayy, cachyos kernel with ostree atomic model, and minimal LLM involvement? Sounds like the next distro I will try :D Thanks for the works!

Can’t wait to prompt-inject the fuck out of those clankers /hj

“WE OWN THE FRIDGE” - some data gathering company probably
I thought ‘wow they made very effective inefficiency machine to push tokenmaxxing to not only limited to programmers’
NetBSD, RedoxOS and some explicitly declines LLM contributions, while both not using Linux as a kernel for their operating system! I do know there are fewer and fewer ground to stand but at least we can try.
