Is he actually “super conservative”? Or are you just talking about the interview where he said he wasn’t progressive?

People aren’t celebrating being obese. They’re celebrating being themselves and accepting that they’re more than their body. They’re also saying that it’s possible to be beautiful and desirable even if you’re overweight.
Fat shaming doesn’t work. People don’t always try to improve themselves when they feel like they’re worthless. Sometimes they do, and you’ll always see some ex-fat person in the comments saying how they needed the shame to improve, but the data doesn’t really support that position.
I just want people to be able to be happy. I want people to be treated like humans regardless of their looks and weight. That’s the goal of most of these *movements."
Also… While some extra crazy people out exist that claim that it’s healthy to never move and be over 300 pounds, those people are often cherry picked and used as examples of cultural downfall, even when they’re the minority.
Did you know that drag is not always sexual? It can be, but it doesn’t have to be.
It’s a literal direct quote from one of his “speeches.”
Reminds me of Drunk Jeff Goldblum
I have the complete opposite experience. Weed removes the guilt of not doing anything, but it usually leads to me doing nothing.
I enjoy weed occasionally because it turns off that hyper critical voice in my head, but it absolutely isn’t a magic motivation medicine for most people.
After using pretty heavily last year and taking a break, I’ve realized that the overall effect is fairly negative, because it just makes me way too ok with doing nothing. Sometimes I need to do nothing and take a break, and it’s great for helping me do that, but for me personally, it’s a major negative when I’m doing it regularly.
Obviously your experience is different (as is everyone’s a little) so feel free to try it, just keep in mind that it can get very easy to get addicted to that “mellow brain” feeling until you realize that all progress on all of your goals have stalled out because it’s easy to just be high all afternoon and evening. There are lots of people who can be motivated and productive while high, but I think I’ve determined that I’m not one of them.
Oh I felt the same way about Bloodstained. I had no Castlevamia nostalgia and it just looked… dated.
Preferences are wild. I think the art looks gorgeous and the animation looks incredibly fluid. The art style doesn’t seem uninspired at all too me.
I want to push back on the 50% figure. Most Americans don’t even vote. Maybe 50% of “voters” say fuck yeah, but even that isn’t accurate since he didn’t even win the popular vote.
I think it’s easy to get depressed about humanity when you start believing that half of the world is ok with Trump. The reality is that most of the world is NOT happy with him as an option, and even most of America is sick of him. Die hard trumpers are definitely a minority in the US, but they’re very loud and enough rich people boost those voices.
How does Valve prevent you from controlling your own device? Their version of Linux isn’t locked down, you can fully customize it like any Linux afaik.
Every time people talk about this, they always envision the most morbidly obese example that they can think of, when we’re really just talking about the average slightly overweight/obese people. Those people often have their actual medical needs ignored by doctors and are given “lose weight” as a cure all. There are literally hundreds of millions of people who experience this.
Reno is an awesome town now, you should check it out.
