The second amendment doesn’t actually exist beyond the gun store counter. Which is the most American way possible of enforcing it.

At this point we’re going to start giving the same advice for interacting with police as with soldiers in a war zone. Basically do whatever they say. And if it’s contradictory then sit on your heels and put your hands up. Make yourself as un-aggressive as possible so the scared, sleep deprived, teenager with a machine gun man child with a badge and a gun can’t possibly see you as a threat.

.world is not the only instance.
I found 300k on a Kenworth model. But reading more about what they want to do, they need startup costs. They’re going to lease the trucks directly to drivers and companies. So a big chunk is going to operations costs until they get going, marketing, etc.
Honestly I’m fine with spending a little more on this to make sure it doesn’t run out of money before getting off the ground.
I’m going to assume there’s a service and transporting contract of some kind in there too.
And? We’re not abolishing timezones any time soon. So there’s always going to be that issue of the easternmost and westernmost towns in a time zone. That’s not a reason for anything.
Because the reasons for the varying lengths of day are well known It’s more an exercise in figuring out why the map has such slanting in it.
Or we could just stop trying to fuck with it and leave it on standard time. Timezones are an international standard. You could easily just adjust your business hours. Instead we’re out here bending everything, even literal time around the capitalist demand for productivity. Just stop fucking with it.
You’re using a tilted and flattened map. Look at the US on Google Earth. It’s not level with latitude lines, and the northern states are expanded on any flat representation.
This is most noticeable at the equator, where there is no large variation. (There’s about 8 minutes difference due to secondary things, not axial tilt.)
There’s a lot of commerce that would actually be disrupted by doing that. Software developers would certainly riot.
Flagstaff is nice. Williams and Winslow are nice if you’re fully remote. Anything South of Camp Verde or Prescott is just ridiculous though.
Permanent daylight time gives us all of the downsides and exactly one benefit. I’m sorry you live that far North/South but that’s just how the seasons and tilt of the earth work. We shouldn’t be doing split time at all and we shouldn’t endeavor to be an hour off the rest of the world just so commuters can drive home with the sun in their eyes.
SCOTUS gave the election away because of them and the entire recount situation was manufactured to make it seem like there could be no consensus.
Well, for what they think those terms mean…
Oh I agree this puts a lot of faith in the government when workers are perfectly capable of owning the factory they work in.
The remedy remains the same. There are countries where imposing it on the working class would not work because the working class would fill the streets.
Or, if that’s your only concern, you make sure there’s a provision stating a company’s worth isn’t an issue unless someone is using it to fund their lifestyle.
Americans need to relearn how to protest, and how to get the boot out of their mouth during primaries. Otherwise everything will be used against the working class while giving the owner class full socialism.
With that said, one of the ways you organize is by pushing for laws in an honest manner. If you just stay negative, people stay home. They want solutions, not problems.
Never forget, cashing something sarcasm is the original Schrodinger’s joke. If it is satire, everyone is happy. If it isn’t then they’re put on notice that other people see this argument at that level. And I’m happy. Either way, I’m happy.
But honestly it’s the second paragraph for me.
I’ll be that guy. Up to ME it was pretty good and it just worked. Then it took up the every other version being good thing that we’re used to up to 10. It’s only really now that they’re trying to kill 10 and push us onto 11 that it’s really become a problem.
