Fucking thank you for saying it.
(and for saying it more eloquently than I have been able to.)

And get fucked, Digital Millennium Copyright Act!
I fully expect PayPal to harvest and share the United States data anyway - regardless if you opt out - and they’ll get a slap on the wrist 5 years later when someone finds out about it.
Because it’s accepted all over the internet and is the only way to pay on many websites.
It’s also a way to send money to friends, just like venmo and such. And just like venmo and such, has very few consumer protections or regulation.
The US doesn’t have a national or government system to freely send payments to other people - and no one uses checks anymore - so we all have to pick one of these equally awful private companies to use to send money and hope we don’t get scammed or have our account frozen and our money seized.
I am weeping for the poor soul who is hired to clean those windows.

Thank you for this 🙂
+1 for philips.
The problem is most of what the big box hardware stores in the US are selling are junk brands. And they won’t even offer basics like a philips 75-watt-equivalent soft-white led in their stores.
The junk brand bulbs will fail in my kitchen light fixture after a year (they start flickering). The philips bulbs have never failed for me.
A properly designed and produced led bulb should last like 20 years.
Never stopped masking in clinics. In the last few months I am back to masking in crowded environments. Always wear KN-95 or equivalent quality mask. I don’t live in a high density or high population area.
Wore a mask to the theatre last night, and within ten minutes the stranger next to me started coughing and continued to do so throughout the film.
As far as I know, I have never gotten covid and I plan to keep it that way.
For the first time ever, manufacturers would be required to study the impact of test dummies hit outside of vehicles. The rules would likely change the design of what America drives permanently.
That’s all the article says about the actual rule changes. Based on this information alone, I know very little about what will actually change.
I feel like the NHTSA should do way more if they can and argue for limits on light truck sizes in their length, height, weight, and perhaps classification.
If he did something illegal – and I am not saying he didn’t – I am 100% in favor of the FBI showing up and arresting him.
Right! Legal consequences; arrest the guy, charge him with something!
But showing up to intimidate him and not arrest him? I don’t want my government doing that to me the next time I say something they don’t like.
It seems like a case of the government intimidating and harassing a guy (who is awful, no doubt) who seems to have done nothing illegal, based on the fact that he has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
Are we really okay with this?
I don’t like this guy, but unless the FBI shows up with a search warrant or an arrest warrant, the FBI can piss right off.
And said bystander is in critical condition.
This reminds me of a Youtube series a guy did called When Phones Were Fun.
I had the Touch Pro 2 and loved it! Windows Mobile was a complete mess in the best possible way.
Nonono. To hell with that phone and that company. i bought one and it just now got delivered, three years later.
It’s underpowered and a broken mess. And the keyboard isn’t the best, which is insane for a phone whose whole selling point is the keyboard. I was expecting it to be on par with my old Sidekick phones. Nope. So disappointing.
I think at least a few of them are jerking off to this. 🤫
