    I somehow doubt that transitioning all cats to vegan food will feed more people. We already throw away more food than this as it is.

    But otherwise this is good news.

        Was just a thought i had when i read this part

        If all pet cats were transitioned, sufficient food energy could be saved to feed 70 million people

      Using crops to raise more animals wastes a lot of crops when we could just skip the middleman and feed our selves the source.
