Israel doesn’t want a ceasefire, which is the only reason why a ceasefire won’t happen. It has nothing to do with a political party and everything to do with whether a government has any obligation to diplomacy or democracy.
Even though Israel is controlled by fascists currently, the US and the international community have a lot of leverage to use against them. We should use it. But under Trump we definitely won’t.
