I’m not telling you to “Go Outside” as a thought-terminating cliche, to not stop analyzing your environment and the conditions we live in. I am telling you because you were literally talking about wishing for Russia to level Ukraine, which is fucking insane to say, it’d be the same as calling for the Zionist entity to be fucking nuked. You know who gets harmed in that the most? The regular proles, no matter their reactionary attitude (in the case of the Zionist entity, it would be the Palestinians remaining, and the land scorched)- meanwhile the international bourgeoisie can be kept safe outside of said region’s leveling. I used to think like this, or say shit like this, or glorify war and bombings- leveling of an enemy- before I read Marx, when I was a measly liberal; it’s not material at all… before I wanted to actually ever go out and organize. It’s fucked up and self-alienating. I’m not saying you never go outside, but to go outside and breath a bit when you have thoughts like this.
In the same manner, I wouldn’t blame Iran for using nuclear weapons against the Entity if they so decided their security was worth it. Geopolitical reality as you said for your reasons and global escalation make that impossible.
I specified in a few responses and another comment. I don’t want Russia to just nuke cities; I was talking about how I’d wish they’d just level all military facilities either they were put in civilian infrastructure or not. America, Israel, etc all practice that as well. Donbass/Luhansk broke away, most have fled there or out of the country and all that is left is eventually going to be conscripted as the state turns into a death-spiral endsieg-style either they are nationalist/banderite kool-aid drunk or not.
