        Which is why AI shit needs to be labeled. If you were photoshopping in a face, why would you retouch an ear, vest, and pattern on the shirt? Answer, you wouldn’t, it’s AI making the whole thing up

          Not that I’m in disagreement (honestly, for memes using old meme templates and not actual art, I just don’t care), but aren’t there a number of people who work hard to touch up memes? There was a whole subreddit for High Quality Memes and lots of people touching up templates, before AI was big in doing this.

            Human wouldn’t think a patch of hair with an ear behind it was a shadow on a sun lit ear (cause the sun wouldn’t be in a damn photo studio)

      Great term, AI slop.

      What would we think if we saw a human-quality image generator tomorrow - would labeling be more or less important, would we call it slop due to inherent nature or be more accepting, etc.
