They should’ve kept the protests out front. Catching charges and ending the protest doesn’t help anyone but the consulate. I hope they get sealed records.
This is the one hand, on the other hand, we are now reading about this protest.
Not sure what the right answer is, but these are brave people protesting for peace regardless.
That’s true. It would eventually make the news with longevity or increased size. I’m all for protesting, I just worry about them having convictions.
Remember, even Dr. King was willing to go to jail to get basic civil rights for all Americans. And the result was both an amazing piece of writing and also a massive swaying of public opinion. I don’t want anyone arrested, but it is not necessarily the worst thing that could happen.

Idiots
You think it’s idiotic to protest against a genocide?
I wouldn’t be so quick to defend either of these sides:
“ The people who entered the lobby of the building where the Consulate is situated are the same people who have celebrated the rape, maiming, burning alive, and murder of hundreds of Israelis barely a day after October 7th.”
That’s just completely not true though.
So, if Palestinians had the same armament than Israel, they would be nice and tolerant?
So, do you just make shit up and imply that the comment above you just said or insinuated what you made up?
Are you suggesting all Palestinians are in Hamas? Because that would be kind of very bigoted of you.
Just because someone says something does not make it true.
