The previous and recent FDA modernization act 2.0 was suprisingly bipartisan, so don’t think this law is doomed

The previous law allowed the FDA to permit non-animal testing, but did not require them to do so. They unfortunately have not started any process to do that, so now there’s a new bill proposed to require them to start. The bill would set up reporting guidelines and the like, so it is not just blindly handing it over to the administration
