Summary

Organizers of the 2017 Women’s March are planning the “People’s March” on January 18, 2025, ahead of Donald Trump’s second inauguration.

Unlike the record-breaking 2017 protest with 500,000 people, this multi-issue demonstration, addressing abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, climate change, and more, expects a smaller turnout of 50,000.

Organizers acknowledge shifting political dynamics and aim to build a sustainable movement by connecting participants with advocacy organizations.

Protesting trump will do nothing. People should be marching in the street protesting the stupidity of the people who voted for him. They will be the end of our freedoms. It’s a cult!

Just because someone is poor doesn’t mean they’re not a scumbag.

Source: I grew up poor, knew a lot of them.

Just because someone is poor and trapped in a country where there isn’t a democracy doesn’t mean they’re a scumbag

Just to be clear, I am not, nor did I ever say that poor people are stupid. Stupid people have every range of income, as do smart people. Having or lacking money does not determine your intelligence level. Elon musk has a fuck-ton of money and is one of the dumbest people to ever live on Earth. Maga is a cult and only stupid people fall into it.

I plan to write a sternly worded memo on my grievances and mail it straight to a white house intern.
