That’s what I’m getting at, Nintendo only needs the argument “this could be used to rip a game onto the cartridge, then distribute it” and US courts will bend over and grant them the DMCA strike

Someone help me understand the feature to lock a game to the cartridge - does this mean it copies the game data into the SNES cartridge so you don’t need the GameBoy cart anymore? If so, this could give Nintendo’s lawyers enough power to shut this project down, which would be very sad
Did you happen to look up while standing in the TSA line? Surprise, there’s cameras there too. Sure, they’re not getting a straight-on shot of your face, but still getting a clear shot nonetheless. There’s no winning in this situation sadly
Sure this is sad, but what even breaks in these? They’re single board computers inside plastic shells. Of course the controllers can break/wear out but those are easily replaceable
If you’re referring to the weight of the housing leveraging the connector, I think printing with a low infill would make that a non-issue. The cable itself is going to be much heavier by comparison
It’s a constant cat & mouse game but ublock usually catches up quickly, give them a little time
The whole reason Google is making manifest v3 is to prevent ad blockers from being able to update their blocklists quickly, giving them a much stronger advantage in the cat & mouse game
Lego 2k Drive is a great one. Micro transactions are sadly pushed pretty hard, but I just played with my Switch in airplane mode and that made it pretty easy to ignore them
Doesn’t even have to be public, I never outgrew the childhood reaction of disgust to people making out. Like, why do I want to see a closeup shot of people kissing on my 65” 4k TV, even if it’s supposedly romantic…
You call them scammers, then say their right to scam should be protected by licenses? I say we scam the scammers by forking it and doing whatever the fuck we want with it 🙂
The author’s points are:
It’s pretty easy to tell that this guy spends at least half of his waking hours on reddit. He also completely glossed over the fact that it’ll be open source, so we can just fork it and cut out the icky parts
A small, abandoned office building.
The ground floor would be full of TVs playing news networks and people arguing about politics.
The top floor would be cubicles for the coomers
The basement would be full of servers and bearded people with Thinkpads running Linux
Well, so does your credit card company and they sell that info to the same companies Apple does, so nothing is really lost but a little is gained.
Really, there’s not much private about credit cards at all, so idk what’s with this thread…
I don’t know what you’re referring to exactly, but for me, I like using normal credit cards through Apple Pay because the recipient doesn’t get your actual credit card number and a different number is used each time
This thread is news to me. Unicode is Unicode, no? Why restrict to Latin letters?
I wouldn’t count on it since kids are their target market. I highly recommend taking matters into your own hands (lol) and buying adult-sized joycons with Hall effect sticks
The current COD (MW3/Warzone) is my guilty pleasure. It crashes during 50% of my play sessions, the player/weapon skins are cringe, the battle pass is pushed pretty hard, but somehow I’m able to ignore all of that and have a lot of fun with it. Warzone is my personal favorite battle royale implementation and MW3 is a nostalgia trip with all the remade maps from past games.
Admittedly, half of my enjoyment comes from playing with my clan from the Xbox 360 days and feeling like we’re in high school again, so playing alone might not be so fun
Useless? I feel like you could get some commissions from urban restaurants to put these in their street-facing food displays
She’s in Ben Shapiro’s sex dungeon
Almost Turing complete 😍
