it’s not like I expect every solarpunk to explain every win every post
I agree and only meant if you wanted to post in [email protected]. Because in my opinion, it is about solrapunk theory and how services can be provided and governed. But it would need some context about theory, at least for me, since I’m not too deep into governance concepts.
I think it’s not about technology itself, but about (corporate) governance of tech companies and therefore not fitting very well in this community (but the post can stay imho). However, I find [email protected] less suitable. To be honest, the main [email protected] would be adequate in my opinion. Maybe it would need to be contextualized better: Why do you think this is a solarpunk approach to governance? Are there examples that work like that? What could go wrong? And so on to give it more depth and not just be a “news” link

So, this confirms the horseshoe theory then?
Well, what did you expect?
Or, you know, it’s a meme and people engage with it, ideally sparking a thought in them
That happens regularly to me for some reason.
Average trolley problem
Not really WYSIWYG, but typst might be an easier start. They try to be the latex successor. I haven’t really used it though

I’m not from the US and am always a bit confused with juries. Do I understand correctly that basically random people called for jury duty found her guilty to the charges (brought by Perdue)? Would they have any wiggle room beside guilty/not-guilty? Will the possible jail time be set by a judge or also the (same?) jury?
Do you happen to have experience with them? I’m concerned they will not be breathable enough for my sweaty feet…
Since around 3 years I use a toothpaste with B12 and just checked my blood last week: Perfectly good levels of B12.

How do you conclude they are an animal abuser? As far as I can tell, they advocate against it.

A lot of people are really like
Oh no! Anyway…
I remember being that myself. I ignored the facts, it was easy to do so in an environment where everyone did that. It changed when my environment changed and I really thought about the animal industry and how I contributed to it. It also happened in a time where I had the privilege to take the time, think about it and make the necessary changes, also thanks to availability of products in supermarkets, as well as meals at university.
Addendum: Additionally, people are kind of gate-kept from the “truth” by capitalist interests, through a stronger disconnect between the product you buy and how it is produced, obscuring the origin, process and actual ingredients. Even if people know, how something is produced, it is easy to abstract the final product from it, not having to face you cognitive dissonance.
That’s not good enough!
