I’m not sure I agree this is an awful location if you’re going to make a big studio campus. It’s not in Austin atm but it will be eventually (it’s currently surrounded) and 290/183 are useful veins. You say “outside Manor” like it’s also not ~10 miles from the capitol and downtown. In LA terms that’s basically nothing.

Meanwhile I have like 500 hours and my last death was eating lethal mushrooms I foraged on day three. My best run ever was maybe 2.5 months. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually lived long enough to harvest any crops I planted.
If you’ve read all the OG Dune content, I say go for it. They aren’t at the same level, but they’re… Fine. Get it from the library or wherever and try it. Go in with low expectations and possibly get pleasantly surprised, or never pick them up again.
Turns out I liked the game only because of what I thought the game could be instead of what it actually was.
I never played Star Citizen, but this is kinda where I ended up with No Man’s Sky. I played it at launch and again earlier this year and there’s definitely some fun to be had but nothing fits together right, or feels fully realized. NMS lost a coherent vision of the game at some point and eventually it just made me itch to play better games that were more focused.
Totally. I had a few runs on it while it was in the unstable branch and the new mechanics are great, but firing it up after the stable release and seeing all the love put into older map locales really made it feel like a brand new game.
My favorite of all time is Psyduck because I identify with him and frequently have to control myself from freaking out when minor things go wrong.
I also like Squirtle and Turtwig lines.
Pokopia is easily my favorite game in the series too, just because it lets you work together instead of battling, and it made me appreciate some others like Ditto or Piplup.
It’s basically the best virtualization platform. It can do full system emulation across a number of platforms, or hardware assisted virtualization (using KVM). It’s incredibly useful for debug as well as doing real work.
Compete with AMD as well. They don’t license the designs directly, but the reason they’ve dominated the last couple generations of consoles is they’re willing to do custom work where Intel traditionally was more “take it or leave it”

Their arms and legs don’t pop out of holes in their shells, their shells are more like wraps around their torsos (it’s a strapless dress, not a onesie). Also those scutes (panels of the shell) are fucked.

If you have an emergency, you call 911 and as soon as they hear the word “gun” cops are the only outcome. Maybe in some universe a person has some foresight in case of a suicidal person with a gun and can look up local resources or something, but until we have something built into emergency services for this, panicked people are going to do the one thing they can think of when someone needs help.

Just cut out the avocado toast, ask Mom for a six figure loan, then find a gem property in the local airport flight path, next to a slaughterhouse, an AI data center, built on reclaimed landfill, and across the state highway from a pet sematary. You can get it for under a million easy!

Complete non-story. The Deck has been out for years for this verification to mature and it’s usually less about specs (in the age of FSR/DLSS etc.) and more about “can this game be played with this control scheme comfortably” which is not an issue for the Steam Machine since it’s just a PC.
