No, the Comedian Actor Zelensky, who has explicitly the exact same qualifications to be a world leader as Donald Trump, has not ‘prosecuted’ this war. He has been an incredible front man for this war, for the competent people that have run this war and resistance against Russia. He is an amazing actor, and has utilized those skills to well market this war to previously unsure NATO countries.
However he has no qualifications or skill to actually lead a war, and he used to admit that. Consistently firing his generals over petty disputes, at best, seems like the shortest possible path to a complete balkanization of Ukraine into its disparate regions as the people with actual power and competency in Ukraine start new rebellions (especially given democracy has been indefinitely paused so the people have had no say in any of this for years now.)
