We’re in the shade but it’s hot in the direct sun. High was around 85F, it’s now dropping. Last year was much hotter…95 or so, I don’t think we left our seats the entire time.

Many cars were having a tough time last night in practice one; I think the repaved track was cooler than expected and there wasn’t enough grip yet. We saw several spin outs, both Mercs and Albon.

I’ll try! We’re in the main grandstand today so it’s difficult to get a good snap while they’re zooming by!
