Yeah I am from Switzerland and I can absolutely afford paying the US services I was using. I cancelled them all in the past weeks, iCloud, Netflix, Disney, MS Office, Bitwarden, Sky Switzerland (owned by Comcast) all lost my business.

As a European who studied in the US and since moved back to Europe after working in Silicon Valley for a while I am actually more and more ashamed about the US section of my CV.
