  • Honestly I’m starting to forget what feeling like a kid was like. I’m 30 and yeah I don’t have all the answers and shit, but my teenage years were defined by an internal conflict I resolved in college, my relationship with my parents (one died when I was in college the other disowned me when I was in college), and high school.

My college years were defined by the wild shit my previous sentence said I went through at that time, as well as my studies, financial and housing struggles, and a relationship that ended less than a year after I graduated, and I moved away from my hometown after college.

I’m 30, I’m married, I’ve continued growing as a person my whole life and have no intent to stop now, my financial struggles are those of an adult of my generation with a decent career. I don’t really have any of the same problems I had as a kid except like my health and disability issues. Sometimes I have traumatic flashbacks to my teenage years but I haven’t had one in years. My interests have even matured. Sure I still don’t have all the answers, but anyone who says they do is lying to you and possibly themselves, and they may be trying to take advantage of you. I’m not a kid pretending to be an adult, I’m a person, and it turns out kids are too.

  • Yeah i have a background in human factors engineering and something like that is just asking for unsafe driving. If it can wait until you aren’t driving then all you should see of it is a little notification telling you fo check it when needed.

  • So here’s what you’re gonna do. You test. And you spread factual information. Oh and you protest. Good news is people won’t be frothing at the mouth celebrating your death, getting folks to not celebrate us dying was like half the battle.

Oh and an old prostitute once told me that after enough of her friends died she just broke and walked to another city (like days of walking distance). It’s not a good plan A, but don’t throw the idea out prematurely

  • They’re godsdamned freaks is what they are. Their religion says sex is disgusting and evil. Mine says it’s holy and pleasure is sacred. But neither of us should get to decide the law based on what gods we got. I know that. Jewish Americans know that. Hindu Americans know that. Muslim Americans know it too. And I ain’t seen Buddhists trying to ban alcohol in any city in America, nor shinto folks trying to divert public school money to preaching about amaterasu. Turns out it’s just the Christians round here who don’t get that when your religion says you can’t do something it means you don’t get to do it, but the rest of us are more than free to.
