Who cares, OVH also has Data Centers in Germany. The demand for those services won’t disappear. These people will just be employed elsewhere
When it’s hot during the day there is usually sun too. Solar makes this problem less worse
We should focus on reducing the emissions we can easily reduce right now. As I’ve said, intercontinental travel is not a huge part of plane travel/emissions in Europe.
You can make synthetic fuel from CO2 and lots of electricity, and researchers say, that this might be something for those long flights. But it will make them much much more expensive.
Night Trains for European Routes.
I do this regularly for all my long distance travels. It’s unfortunately more expensive than flying, but it’s better for the environment and you don’t really lose time as it’s over night.Most flights aren’t long distance, but “I want to get wasted 1000kms away on a 30€ easyJet Fare with the boys”
And even for the long distances in Europe, if the political will is there you could have High Speed Night Trains

Well, maybe your family called for a bullshit emergency.
The wait times for actual life threatening emergencies are low. But the data is public, take a look for yourself.
It’s the same when somebody complains about long wait times in the ER in Germany. If they had to wait a long time, it wasn’t an emergency. Simple as that.

You don’t need an extra lane, if the traffic on your side moves to his right side and the other side moves to their right side, there would be plenty space in the middle for the ambulance to pass

There was plenty of space in the video to move the car out of the way. Maybe you would need to stop for a minute because you’re parking close to the curb/car but more than enough for the ambulance to pass

That’s not a dense urban situation at all. There was plenty of space on the road in the video. Usually the cars drive a bit on the pedestrian walkway or just really tight to the left/right end and it’s enough. Would also have been plenty sufficient on the road in the video
