I was upset about the expanse too. Talked to a coworker for a while about it and he said go read the books, just start at book 7 you really won’t be missing much. So I did and immediately knew the 30 year time jump wouldn’t have worked on screen. We still might get more a few years down the line when the actors age up. Also I’m glad I got into the books it was the spark that got me into audiobooks. Started listening to the expanse authors new series and I think that’s getting picked up by Amazon as well.

His diary also raises questions why he was actively reccomending stuff months if not years after he dismissed it in said “private” diary.

Just finished book 3 and I will say the added railway layout confusion kinda took me out of the story, I would find myself rewinding full descriptions several times and still not understanding. The author took a lot of time to describe the different train lines and all the stations but I just stopped caring because it really didn’t matter. Just annoying he took the time to explain everything but it still made no sense.

Book 4 starts way better, with the showrunner explaining the rules and the objectives as soon as they get to the 5th floor.

If I were to guess is your car made by GM, I had to do that on both a Malibu and Colorado. The Colorado needed me to take the air intake off but it was not that difficult.

I started reading a new series called The Captives War, same author as The Expanse. The book starts on a non-earth planet where humans have a seemingly similar level of science and tech as today. They discuss knowing that this planet is not their home world because they live along side another evolutionary tree but they do not know how they got there.

Its not really the main focus of the story so it hasn’t really been explained yet, I only read the first book so far and the third of the trilogy is not yet released. Some fan theories think its a connection to the end of The Expanse book series, where spoiler spoiler the network of portals connecting 1000s of world’s is destroyed stranding millions of people on 100s of worlds across the universe.

I just really like the concept of humans industrializing on an alien world and how they got there was simply lost to time. The fan theory is also partially why I like it but I’m sure it will have a different explanation.

That’s like saying Tropic Thunder aged poorly, the point of the racism is to mock it. Which for the time I think blazing saddles was pretty progressive in that regard.

As others have said, you’re probably thinking of Tenet. I watched it and by the ending I was a bit confused but thought the point of the movie was to be confused on the first watch and the second watch will explain a lot more. NOPE. I watched it again within a week and nothing that is explained in the first half holds up in the second half. They explained the rules and then ignored them to push the plot along. Great idea, very bad execution though.

Agreed, but my take on it is that he’s like the Joker, “I don’t want to kill you, you’re just too much fun.” He doesn’t see the boys as a threat really until last season, and as much as Homelander enjoys killing I think he enjoys the turmoil the boys cause in his world even more. He’s an agent of chaos.

Currently playing Silksong, this has been my mantra. The boss fights are all ridiculously hard, the platforming is never ending, and I just reached a boss fight (bilewater) that has platforming up to the arena, multiple waves of enemies in the arena, and then the bullshit acid spitting boss, oh and the arena has swinging hazards and disappearing platforms. God this game is so frustrating but I can’t stop playing it.

My answer is probably Cyberpunk2077, I bought it on accident since it was in my cart on the day Silksong released. Luckily it was on sale at that time. Tried playing it on my ps4 pro and it was struggling so I put it aside and plan on playing it whenever I get a new console. So I started silksong instead which is ironically the first new game I bought in over 5 years.

Facebook’s mobile website takes way too long to load to encourage you to download the app. Only ever use it for marketplace and the occasional link my friends/coworkers send. I recieved a link on teams and my phone took over 20 seconds to load while my work computer did it instantly and both were on the same wifi. Sometimes it will just refuse to open posts on marketplace, so I have to use my computer.

The other candidate of relevance was Clinton, another wife of a former president. Current woman politicians of note for some reason get referred to as acronyms, AOC and MTG for example.

Yep, updated Sunday night after I pushed off the notifications for months. I feel like they punish you for making them do it too, because it turned my alarm off and I was late to work because of it. Funny how my last phone, an S8 never had the issue of me having to unlock my phone to initialize start up after restart.
