I use Peertube cause i got tired of the AI push, garbage, ad-polcolpyse, and every Youtuber is in some type of really stupid or concerning drama.

I wish Peertube had more diversity, thats my only problem with them. None of the spoofing alternatives of YT function properly, and i fell that they are gonna get closed off once Google really hits the fan of closing Android.

Maybe that’ll get more people to focus on Peertube, cause besides Rumble, thats the only platform i know thats a true alternative.

At this point i got rid of AppLounge by debloating and just get everything from Droid-ify. Might as well just go to the direct source, it just runs better.

You can say the same with China, Korea, the middle east as well. The US isnt the only country where you gotta fight for digital privacy.

I used to be like that too and then i got used to getting no sleep for a little while. Like getting less than 4 hrs and then going to work in the field or going on my weekend hikes. My sleep schedule was crazy bad for a while until i started feeling that i needed sleep. I need at least 5hrs and im good, anything under im not doing anything and sleeping in.

What makes it different then the other alarms that youve used?

US phone users in the US dont have to buy international phones just because someone is visiting outside of the country.

They do work overseas; if you buy the right phone plan. Most of us use the option to buy an international plan from a carrier (Verizon, Tmobile, AT&T).

I can also get a local sim or buy an international esim/sim for data. Wifi would only be for calling. We do have options, we just gotta pay attention to what we pick depending on what we are trying to do outside of the country and what the phone is.

Im going to be using Delta chat for my phone calls and texts, which dosent use a phone number and its not tied to a carrier. Im not going to be using a phone number unless its for emergenices. (Ill be getting a temporary number when buying a physical sim card).

The radio and the band compatibility (2G/3G/4G) has nothing to do with each other, they use two completely different sets of frequencies. I have also checked and this phone would 100% work to where im going when getting an international sim card.

Where is the subject disconnect? You do realize that WiFi is not secure right? Even your home wifi is not secure. Its called ISP tracking, btw.

The phone dosent come preinstalled with a radio. You would have to install one, which would be over wifi or data. Since thats the case, I already have a portable emergency radio, if needed.

There are only a very few short wave frequencies that the US picks up to where im traveling too, but im still looking if the reverse is possible.
