  • Sadly enough, broken people often create some of the best art. See Robin Williams, Van Gogh, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Heath Ledger, Richard Pryor, Plath, Johny Cash, Brian Wilson, Kurk Cobain etc. Also, please note that this is not a rule, there are always exceptions. I feel imho when you are going or have been through hell. You have a outlook or understanding of life, that often others dont.

  • Once again there is no perfect fit all answer. If your in a deeply bad place, I would suggest seeking professional help as I am not a professional. Its important to find a source of healthy source of grounding/comfort/routine. of your life has been turned on its head try to take control of it, in what little way you can. From the comment your routine has been changed, adjust what you can. It’s easy for me to say multiple disheartening experiences will end eventually and things will change as its not me but life is more than the shitty days. Try to take hold and seize moments you can.

  • So this is a very complex question, that doesn’t have a fit all answer. I’d say if your in a bad place, changing your routine, enviroment, mind set and alot of self reflection are key. Often times you have to really know yourself and face uncomfortable truths, then adjust your lifestyle slowly to develop a new situation. Be open but not a pushover, don’t hate yourself but want to improve, find kindness in a world that is unkind. I can go on and on but ultimately alot of knowing yourself will help you move forward.
