The way I see it, If people are genuinely convinced it’s true, then it makes sense to follow whatever teachings they think go along with it, though I can’t understand how people are genuinely convinced.

Turns out we can walk and chew gum at the same time. I want to eliminate animal agriculture and I want to tone down/eliminate ai data centers too. I think animal ag is obviously a big problem, but the bigger problem is getting people to side with you on it.
In the current state, it is easier to focus on the ai nonsense because a lot of people are already in board with hating it. That isn’t to say we shouldn’t focus on getting people on the side of eliminating animal ag too, but that’s a slow process.

That’s true that it does kill animals indirectly, but guess what we need a lot less of when we stop farming like half of it to give to animals at purposely kill? We kill less via agriculture

Its a bold move, I’m sure it will pay off /s

Yeah that’s fair, but at the same time, nothing has to go upstream as far as I know. As long as they have their own little sandbox to enshittify, I don’t care if I can get Linux support for my windows only programs

Not particularly, but if their big OS was Linux based, people could get their corporate support, and most of the software keeping people locked into windows would theoretically be able to run on any Linux distro. That’s the dream. I want to run solid works on Linux natively

Imagine a world where they discontinue windows and just focus on azure Linux. I’ll keep dreaming

The stereotypical role nowadays is a position where you are given authority over most people (in certain scenarios at least) and that draws in people with a particular psychology.

I use stepsy for step counting, energize for macros, openscale for measurement taking, and flexify for workouts. I like then well enough. I know wger combines a lot of that, but I didn’t want to move everything over.
As far as devices go, I’d check out gadgetbridge and see what’s supported and go with that. I don’t use a wrist worn device, so I can’t really comment beyond that.
Just like the g* rmans, the d* nish, Ir*sh, *nd the ch *nese. Fuck unnecessary censoring.

Basically big companies keep trying to move towards the consumer not owning anything (phones/tractors etc with proprietary software/hardware) which generates a ton of waste and costs the consumer more. It goes over some things like things certain States are fighting back. Overall would highly recommend the channel in general

And instead buy a normal phone which Google gets all the data from anyway? I’d rather drive the used market for pixels up slightly than have people get any other phone which hands Google money indirectly. I can’t imagine the small bump in prices in the used market even matters to Google in new phone sales

No, not all questions were answered in the post. He asked why secondhand laptops were a bandaid solution, and the post only made the claim that it was a bandaid fix, without explanation. They said that businesses will basically always be buying new fleet laptops, and thus there will basically always be secondhand laptops. Why wouldn’t that work?
Same I guess. I was gifted a butterfly weed specifically to plant, and that was really cool actually. I don’t want cut flowers for the aesthetics lol
Generally speaking, do most men even want flowers? I ask as one that couldn’t care less. A card is fine or some other token of appreciation, but flowers seen pointless to me, so I wonder how alone in that I am.

Lol fuck that
I thought federation is on the roadmap?
