You’re a moron. Companies do this, for this reason, all the time. Get a brain.

I would think that they are, but only because if you clash with their corporate culture, regardless of your leanings, you could be seen as disagreeing with everyone around you on other things. Plus, if you’re vehemently outspoken on socials about that, you’re also potentially that way in person as well, and that doesn’t sit right with those who’d rather leave that stuff unmentioned in the workplace.
I was watching Sons of Anarchy, and had gotten pretty far. I had heard that it was based on Hamlet, and could see a bit of the similarities with it. I wanted to know who some of the other characters were supposed to be in relation to the play… and I discovered thanks to the first article at the top of the search that HUGE SPOILER COMING IN AND IDK HOW TO TAG IT OTHER THAN THESE BIG OLD CAPS the main character Jax becomes a widower thanks to his loving mother, and a very large fork. Absolutely brutal to watch, but less impactful than if I went in cold.
No, I’m saying that the right’s reason for lax gun laws doesn’t seem to mean shit, because even with the laws as lax as they are there, there still wasn’t anyone there to handle the situation. So maybe the laws being more strict would’ve kept the damn gun out of this nut’s hands.
So they’ve got the weakest gun laws, which often leads to more civilians with guns… but there wasn’t a “good guy with a gun” present in this situation capable of taking this guy down?
I’ve seen that movie hundreds of times (one of my favorites) but that was almost 30 years ago now. If they’d made a sequel at that point in time with him as Gomez I can see it working, but in the current time I don’t know if he still has that same spark.
Benicio maybe, he is a tad too subdued in all of his performances, but maybe he could muster some energy for the role. Javier Bardem, while one of our greats, is a hard pass, mainly due to his energy only being able to hit a max of like level 2 or 3 out of ten in anything I’ve seen him in. (Now here come the downvotes) Diego Luna is a no, I’ve only ever seen him in Andor and Rogue one, and he showed 0 charisma in those, so I can’t see it for him. Efren Ramirez, fuck you, Pedro is never to be Gomez.
Their competition wasn’t that fierce, Luis Guzman is a great actor, especially when being comical, but he very much is NOT Gomez Addams. But no matter who it was, I doubt they’d be able to beat Raul Julia or Anjelica Huston.
So that person fucks kids, right?
Registration is required… as is knowledge of a completely foreign language.
He isn’t bald, so it doesn’t fit the “possibly the same movie” theme of the meme
I’m not saying his overall intent was a bad one. But if you try something like that, in a country like Pakistan, you do kinda deserve to be in a mental hospital. I understand trying to spread acceptance and provide a safe place to go for those not accepted by the local society at large, but maybe there are better, even slightly more accepting places where this kind of idea would pan out. I feel like this is equivalent to opening a dispensary in Thailand.
I was going to say something to this effect, but not nearly as clever. Bravo!
That’s how I was voting for Hillary, and I almost actually vomited, for all the good that did me.
First the prison transport break, now a multimillion dollar jewel heist, France is basically Universal Studios now?
All I needed to see was the Baja Blast on the menu to know that that picture isn’t from the 80’s. (Others have also mentioned the cars visible which is also a giveaway,
After Madame Web I don’t blame them. I’m just surprised this announcement didn’t drop sooner lol.
That’s definitely down to the individual troop. The troop I was in required nothing like that. The most religious part to it for my troop was the fact that we met in the basement of a church (it was their daycare area, so not all “basement-y”
A law like this is going to have the opposite of the “intended” effect. It’s going to make people hate Jewish folk as a whole. Imagine being part of the genocidal protected class, feeling untouchable, you’re going to push those boundaries more and more until you’re universally detested.
Intelligent retort. But my info comes from numerous hiring managers and multiple different companies- some that I’ve worked for, others that I’m just friends with folks who happen to do that. I’m not saying all companies do it by any means, but it does happen a fair amount. Seriously though, what does my physical contact with plant life have anything to do with my knowledge on this topic?
