That’s the trust cost of nuclear power in Australia, not the just the hundreds of billions of dollars in the cost of constructing the reactors more than a decade away … but the danger that another decade of denial prevents the action on climate and investment in energy we need now,” he will say.

“Australia has every resource imaginable to succeed in this decisive decade: critical minerals, rare earths, skills and space and sunlight, the trade ties to our region. The only thing our nation does not have, is time to waste.”

I was onboard with the delay reasoning until he mentioned critical minerals, rare earth as the first 2 examples. That just makes me think he only cares about Industry and Businesses and not the pollution and ecological destruction.

  • Why is it so difficult for these manufacturers to sell a $5000 to $10000 4-door hatchback?

Sure the margins might be razor thin but the market in NA is essentially untapped. (I am certain I am wrong here because silly Americans want big cars so there’s actually no market. But let’s assume we can somehow convince enough people to buy one…)

Even I, a non-industry outsider can see the great potential for a very modern petrol/EV hybrid and compact city car thats loaded with smart tech (still offline). Imagine all the cool stuff we can do with it like color themes and modern LED based lighting and good features like physical buttons and a bangin’ sound system. Not to mention we can have top notch safety features and not sacrifice mileage since it will be a small car.

  • It’s sad that people come out of the woodworks like you only to invoke the orange man whenever somebody says they don’t agree with something Biden is doing. I mean, leaving the MAGA crowd out for now… don’t you think we can have a better conversation trying to think beyond the next presidential race?

We know there’s probably some anti-Biden propaganda around. We get it. How about you assume for one moment that whoever it is you are replying to is actually smart enough to understand what it means to elect Trump and are already aware to vote for Biden in the general election? Why don’t you actually address the problems with Biden without comparing him to Trump?
