Same! Except I use windows and they have a small app that you can install and run in the background which will update the IP if needed.
I also used duckdns for years before moving to this and I never had any issues using that either. It was the same thing, small app that ran on your machine and you needed the token and it just worked.
I remember going through tech school 20 years ago and them telling you you need a crossover cable with you at all times for just this type of situation. I think in the 20 years I have used one once.
It may be predictable, but A Christmas Story. I grew up with it and the 24 hour marathon with my parents and for the most part we still keep the tradition alive with my family. Wrap gifts to it, open gifts to it, waiting to eat dinner and still watching it. Of course you only see snip its throughout the day so its not like I see it 20 times, but more likely around 4 times in a year.
I don’t think I have ever watched the game awards, but I do look at the results and trailers the day after. I am glad Claire pulled through! I was following that game the year before it released and it looked incredible. For me it was a day one purchase and glad I was right! It was definitely an experience. It’s also the only game I have purchased this year outside of black friday where I used a gift card to buy 3 cheap games.
My biggest complaint is not that they sell you stuff, it’s that they price everything so dam high… like spending $20 in these games should get you something significant in my eyes, instead you barely get a 10 random pull where you probably end up with crap. Screw that… with that said if I do get into one I will normally throw the game like $20 total purchasing a few things if they feel worth it. I am currently playing Chaos Zero Nightmare and the prices are so bad I haven’t spent a dime and don’t think I will. Its a good game otherwise.
Don’t underestimate the older generation. The sad part is ive been saying that for decades now and thought it would die with them, somehow a lot of these gross things don’t seem to die.

My friend was talking about seeing this a month ago and then found out the new scene was made in fortnite and now refuses. We also thought that was dumb to do. It just seemed like he sold out to make a fortnite promotion more than anything and thats pretty awful. Besides that thanks for the list of other changes since we really didnt think there were any.
He was also talking about how bad Paul Dano is recently which was also in bad taste. I really hope he hasn’t lost it in his old age… I really dont want to end up hating him over saying more dumb stuff.

Mine had money because they refused to buy a PC at all. They were new at that time and the average cost for one back then was like 3k, they said nah were good.
Oh dam… I just did mine this week, and it took hours because its about 4 months worth. I do think it’s partially due to being depressed more since it’s mostly bills and I just avoid them.
Im never cold in the house until its about 0 degrees Fahrenheit outside and the house struggles to keep a steady temp. I normally keep the house between 60-62 if its just me and im good. My wife tries to push it to 72 and of course we argue. I say put clothes on and she normally already is lol. Last night she had full sweatsuit outfit on, big insulated slippers, and 2 blankets on and she was sitting there shivering. The kicker was it was 68 in the room and I said you know if this was summer right now you would be comfortable?
Oh shit, this is me for the next 4 days actually. I run a pizza club were someone in it gets to pick a pizza place when its their turn and we all go there. Happens once every quarter of the year. The person who picked today’s wanted a weekend of pizza so were all getting local pizza at a good place then driving 6 hours to a place and spending the weekend there. Pizza tomorrow, pizza Saturday, and on the way back hit 2 more famous ones on the way home. Pizza!
Covid made wfh a thing. Even though they took it away, we at least got an easy way out of bad weather days were it’s just understood that bad weather will be wfh from now on. So at least thats something.
I am pretty sure windows 7 got 1 last patch a while after it stopped just because of how bad the vulnerability was. It could happen, but it will take a lot.
