An interesting tidbit from the article I hadn’t heard before- Alpine gave Esteban his winning chassis. Very cool.
Who the fuck are you?

Do you know how confusing it is that Thomas the Tank Engine has the blue, two red, and two green characters and they are the same shade of paint? We read Thomas books and my kid gets confused because Emily drives past Thomas, then meets Thomas coming down the line, past Thomas number 3.
I’m gonna guess British shops only sold three colours of paint in 1984?
Such a trainsist, thinking all blue or green trains look the same. /s
It is but it isn’t. Adrian goes over the whole thing in the interview they did during the launch.
To some fans, yes, it will be confusing at first. To anyone who actually looks into the car, it’ll make sense.
I never had the democracy tyremoved expansion, neat.
Mother would never approve.
IMO- Best case he’s a very capable supersub, and arguably could be having a better time racing in another series while being one, if that’s something he desired after F1.
Worst case he’s holding up the line for others who are on the upward arc of their careers, which potentially stunts the growth of Red Bull and their sister team, and maybe the junior teams to some degree.
He’s had a career with more highlights than many get to experience. I think it’s time he steps aside so others can get the chance to create their own highlights.
Soft tires when Mediums were available
This is the one I can’t figure out either. Not sure if that one is on the driver or team, because Lando fumbled his way into “any kind of slick would be better” over the radio. I haven’t had a chance to watch it back to hear the entire exchange yet though so maybe there was a more defined call made at some point that wasn’t broadcast on the main feed.
The softs were used and the mediums were new. McLaren has long carried the trait of quick tire switch-on and should have known it was more or less a sprint to the finish at that point.
Very confusing.
Congratulations to Lewis. It has to feel amazing to win at home after a drought in his successful career. Well done.
The day I understand the FiA will be the day I know I’ve lost it.
You’re definitely right that there’s no harm in asking compared to a DQ.
I don’t understand how or why approval would’ve been needed, unless Red Bull asked just to be safe?
The damage should’ve been covered under normally allowed repairs during parc ferme rules:
“I will turn this around,” says Perez as his car is denied entry at Milton Keynes.
McLaren with two mediums should make for some rapid laps towards the end.
Valid complaints but also complaints that literally every driver make. At some point you either deliver or you don’t.
Chadlonso doesn’t like pumpernickel confirmed.
Alonso has really been in the shadows lately it seems. Any given weekend the car is more or less nowhere to start with and they end up flirting with the undesirable end of the midfield. I find it interesting it’s so close but it also makes me think maybe the team and both drivers are more or less at the limit of their current design already. Time will tell I suppose.
I like to joke that Checo is forever trying to recreate his last to first drive, but here we are again.
Thank you for understanding the joke lol.
Lance really likes making these so shut up before Lawrence gets very angry and has to speak publicly about it.
While you aren’t wrong the people who need to hear that likely aren’t here and aren’t listening anyway.
Yerba mate 10/10 will do again shortly
