It’s interesting to see the stark contrast between that compilation of Trump saying it’s about oil versus a post I saw earlier today in the feed claiming “every president justifies war the same way”.

His actions aside, it is Congress and Congress alone who decides which battles the USA fights. Trump has broken numerous laws in this event alone, an almost uncountable number total, and should pay dearly for it.

Not really. Nations can and should be judged by the international community, I expect punishments on the way for Trump’s actions if the US Congress fails to do anything about this offence.

You can’t tolerate the intolerant, Japan lost WWII and had to be demilitarized. It’s one thing to advocate for Remilitarize Japan, it’s another thing entirely to ask their proxy military to leave them defenceless.

I’m going to be honest, in the journalist’s shoes I wouldn’t have leaked it to anyone except congress, either. Trump is criminalizing himself while also removing a militaristic dictator from power, it is congress’ duty to stop that and they’re a Republican trifecta.

I don’t pretend to know what the “plan” was, Trump’s a senile fuckin moron and his whole administration are a bunch of incompetent thugs, but I think being labelled as Imperialism implies that they have an empire.

It’s difficult for me to see you take any legitimate stance against American Democracy and also against Trump because Trump opposes the American Democracy.

I see the USA as the cold, brutal, stone walls of a dam which holds back autocracies Russia and China. I want Trump removed, I want the USA’s democracy to fix itself and improve as they always have, and I want their diplomatic influence and NATO to spread until all war is forever behind us as a species.
