Especially if you light the 151 on fire first.

Excuse me, that’s the weed patio. The hookah goes on the porch.
It worked pretty well to stop HAL 9000.
For me the fun is learning to be more like Geralt. When I start as a player I don’t have those instincts, and the progression of collecting more recipes and ingredients and learning what exactly I need to prep for the monster around the corner is an interesting challenge and good feedback loop. I don’t want the game to do that for me, it would be too much like autopilot.
That’s somewhat hyperbolic, though it’s a worthy concern. I live in the US and none of my encounters with police have been like that whatsoever, but then again I’m white and midwestern and not financially underprivileged. I’ve seen cops thoughtfully de-escalate or give genuine selfless help firsthand.
I would still say ACAB, but that’s moreso due to the very abusable powers and excessive undue protections that political states give them. It’s a systemic problem, but not proscriptive of individual encounters.
You had me nodding till the oils. That personally sounds a bit cheaty, but then I quite enjoyed the thoughtful aspect of planning your potions and oils carefully before combat.
But otherwise yeah I played with QoL mods before, mostly to help the UI and map and inventory. Worth the minor effort for sure.
I guess I can only speak from my experience. Most of the instructors and blackbelts who taught me were working on advanced academic degrees as well and actually cared about their students learning all aspects of the art. No meatheaded dudebros whatsoever. They would never even consider promoting that type of buffoon.
Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t the same.
Thanks! I remember using DarNified for Skyrim so that sounds promising.
Red Dead Redemption 2. I love it but put it down for like a week then got distracted by other games. Haven’t had the drive yet to pick the story back up.
Witcher 3. I never played Blood & Wine. I loved the game as well as Heart of Stone but I scoured every inch and burned myself out. Told myself I’d save B&W for when I make some changes in my life, as motivation. Still haven’t made a couple of the biggest yet though.
I highly recommend giving Subnautica another shot. It quickly became one of my all-time favorites. The devs have gone back and made improvements and even brought some buildables and minor features from Below Zero into the original game. It’s not perfect and you could still potentially lose a seamoth to a bug but I was able to finish it on hardcore mode (one death erases your save) if that tells you anything about stability.
Anyone know what this mod is called? I have the same hoarding problem as the other poster so this sounds essential for me.
Sure, but most people probably don’t know that detail. Hunters probably do, but for your average dumbass a simple “don’t shoot any guns into the air” rule is probably for the best.
I guess that’s fine if you live on a large isolated property. Where I am, the neighbor’s house is like 3.5m away.
Sabine Wrenn? Healed by a medical bot. At least hers took a while.
No, ignore this. Never shoot guns into the air, it’s both dangerous and stupid.
I’m sure that would have happened if it was necessary. But what’s amazing about highly skilled martial arts practitioners is that they have incredible self control and extensive training on how to de-escalate a situation with the minimal force. They understand anatomy and reaction speed and pain and even the legal consequences of using their abilities for harm.
It still boggles my mind that it’s not a requisite for western police.
That’s part of the original joke, and also why the idea falls under “dumb”.
IMO conservatives are either Klingons, Ferengi, or deluded enough to think they’d be chosen to join the Q Continuum. And Libertarians think they’re Romulans or Cardassians but aren’t actually that organized or clever.
That wasn’t part of his standup act but it could be a funny addition… if it wasn’t so close to the truth.
This one is really making the c/whitepeopletwitter community title seems extra ridiculous.
