I don’t know when I started doing this, but I’ll just put my left hand/arm alongside my cat and kinda just scoop her and carry her around resting on my forearm. She tolerates it very well, and I’ll even take her outside like this for the good sniffs.

Bonus cuddle pic. While typing this up she jumped on my chest then flopped over into the crook of my arm.

Leda. She is a complicated cat. She is a rehome because she kept attacking people in her previous home. The short version is she gets very twitchy when she’s uncomfortable. I gave her space and she became an absolute baby for me (and now my wife) but getting her vaccinated involved 3 people and leather gloves. We have 6 cats and she coexists well enough with all of them except the voids.
