It still pisses me off that people think you can use left and right to describe a rotation. Come on, man!

C’mon man, we live on a surface.
Society is a surface? I mean, it is superficial…
That’s more confusing IMO, I don’t usually roll my screws on the floor (not intentionally at least)
Why can’t we all just use (counter) clockwise? My reminder is only counter-clockwise is back in time, so you turn the screw back to how it was before you fastened it. Clockwise makes time pass until the screw is stuck. Yes this is more intuitive in my head, don’t shame me.
Remembering ©CW is just another arbitrary thing like remembering left and right. But if you imagine that circular thing as a rolling wheel, then just left and right suffices to describe which way it is turning.
I’m not sure, but I think we had wheels earlier than screws or clocks so it stuck.
Yes, why don’t we use +θ and -θ with z pointing towards us?
Lefty righty, loosey tighty!
Clocky Locky!
I am not sure if I should say it, but “Solang das Deutsche Reich besteht, wird die Schraube rechts gedreht!” is something I always will remember.
The German Reich isn’t anymore and now look at those pesky gas valve screws. SMH
Or for those that don’t speak German:
As long as the German Reich exists, the screw is turned right!
I use the right hand rule
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Right-hand_grip_rule.svg
Point your right thumb in the direction you want the screw to go, and your fingers will curl in the direction you need to spin it.
Yeah, the right screws it up whenever it can, the left just screws off whenever it’s important.
all british people must die
Well, you know where we live…
