Also I can’t speak for sure, but as a woman it would be a draw for me, so I would imagine there might be more women present than at other pubs. Of course, they may be paying more attention to the cats than the men. But petting the cats can be a conversation starter and a way to demonstrate what kind of human being you are.

If one prefers to remain at home with one’s special cat, at least the cats would mitigate if one had to meet at the pub for social/professional reasons.
