I got Etrian Odyssey I-III HD in the mail yesterday and I’m having a blast with the 2nd game (played the original of the first game not too long ago). The difficulty and the slow but steady progression really tickles my brain. I love this series.

Happy cake day!
Oh thanks! I didn’t realize.
I just got a refurbished game boy color with Pokemon Red. Hold my calls.
After not finish the adventure of eliot, because i’m a bit bored i just randomly pick to play more digimon time strangers. So i guess i playing that new game + right now. New Game+ is kinda hard on this game. Also i want to start playing Brigandine Abyss later this month.
I pulled out a tube TV from the basement to see if it still works, ended up playing through Chrono Trigger on Mister FPGA. What a short and sweet game. Are there any modern AAA JRPGs that don’t overstay their welcome?
I also finished my „play on train only” Final Fantasy VII Remake run on Switch 2. That took some time since I only do maybe 6 hours per week on trains. Kind of scared how many trips Rebirth will take.
Up next: dunno, SMTV while travelling and Star Ocean on tube TV at home probably.
My heart says that I should start Trails of Cold Steel but my heart also says ‘the factory must grow’. I’m torn.
Trails of Cold Steel is 4 games long and feels longer. Gotta start at some point.
I’m just dreading 2, a friend of mine has told me just how bad the game is - it may not have been a problem if the games weren’t a kajillion hours long.
Zero to Azure was so good though, I just need that again.
I’m also planning on starting Trails of cold steel, but considering I’ve been playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for like 3 months and still haven’t finished it, who knows how many years the Cold Steel series will take me…
Not playing, but listening to the Retrograde Amnesia FFVIII again. Probably the 4th time now.
Believe it or not, still haven’t finished XC3. I’m at about 120 hours. It’s still just kinda meh, but my inner completionist won’t let me just power through the story. Oh well.
Assuming I do finally finish it this month, I’ll start on Trails of cold steel next.
