Eh… Very visually beautiful, but for some reason, the gameplay just didn’t appeal to me much and I couldn’t really get into it much. Didn’t help that (at least in the beginning of the one I played) the story seemed bland, vague, and a bit confusing.
Still, though, visually wonderful. Amazing graphics and art.
Wow really? The story is one of my favorite parts, I put it up there with BioShock in terms of ludonarrative resonance. Admittedly it gets a bit fuzzy in the sequel but the characters are well written and the world building is delightful. But everyone has their tastes, and the combat is something you either click with or spend the whole game fighting against. I will say combat is a bit sloppier in the sequel, they give you quite a few more tools but no real reason to use them for the most part. Still a good time though.
I’m assuming from this comment that you don’t have a PC that can run it, but as a PSA both are on Steam and go on sale pretty regularly.
They’re worth it at full price IMO
I haven’t played either but watched a lot of my wife’s playthroughs of both and they seemed pretty awesome
What games?
Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West
